Goodpath and Munich Re Partner in Asia to Expand Access to Evidence-Based Cancer Survivorship Care

Goodpath, the leading provider of virtual whole-person care for chronic conditions, is partnering with Munich Re in Asia to offer comprehensive cancer survivorship support alongside critical illness products.
Under this partnership, Goodpath’s personalized, home-based cancer rehabilitation program will be provided as part of Munich Re’s digital rehabilitation program in Hong Kong and Singapore. The program is designed to support individuals during and after cancer treatment by addressing the physical, mental, and lifestyle challenges of survivorship, such as fatigue, fear of recurrence, pain, insomnia, and depression.
“Our integrative care model is designed to improve quality of life and long-term outcomes. We’re thrilled to bring this approach to more people through Munich Re’s innovation in critical illness coverage,” shared Daniel Zainulbhai, Chief Business Development Officer of Goodpath
“Munich Re is making critical illness insurance products even more valuable through integrating additional rehabilitation service”, said Nick van der Nest, Chief Propositions Officer, Munich Re Life & Health Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa. ”By offering customers access to world-leading AI-based digital rehabilitation services, we aim to significantly improve their long-term health outcomes after suffering a serious illness. At the same time we provide an innovative solution to our primary insurance clients which makes their critical illness products more sustainable and relevant.”
Whole-Person, Evidence-Based Care
Goodpath’s program follows guidelines from the Society of Integrative Oncology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Each member receives a personalized care plan with evidence-based interventions, including mind-body techniques, dietary and movement support, and complementary therapies like aromatherapy. Members also receive access to a clinical health coach to guide their treatment journey and adapt their program as their health needs change.
Proven Outcomes for Cancer Survivors
Goodpath’s outcomes among cancer survivors demonstrate the power of whole person care, including an 88% reduction in fear of recurrence, 35% improvement in depression symptoms, and a 27% improvement in fatigue.
This partnership enables insurers to offer high-impact support while improving long-term claims outcomes, reducing recurrence, enhancing adherence, and improving the survivorship experience.
