Lifecycle Marketing Manager

Location: Remote (US) or Hybrid in Cambridge, MA

Why this role

At Goodpath, we help members feel better, faster. Our programs drive real health improvements. Many members call it “the best care they’ve ever had.” As our Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you’ll own the programs that attract, activate, and retain members, turning clinical and product updates into compelling, multi-channel journeys. By doing this work, you’re not just growing engagement metrics, you’re helping people get access to care that changes their lives.

You’ll have real ownership, strong cross-functional partners, and room to stretch into strategy, new channels, and thought leadership.

What you’ll do

  • Plan & launch member campaigns: Build and ship multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, postcards, flyers, webinars, landing pages) for enrollment, monthly themes (e.g., Mental Health Month), and ongoing engagement.

  • Own the content calendar: Define monthly themes and coordinate execution across channels to drive enrollments and ongoing engagement.

  • Run webinars & virtual events: Partner with coaches to design, schedule, and host programs that boost member activation and retention.

  • Improve member funnel: Audit flows and content, test subject lines and CTAs, and optimize for conversion and retention.

  • Keep members excited: Pilot ideas like monthly newsletters and “Did you know?” content to highlight underused features and benefits.

  • Competitive pulse: Monitor peers to surface best practices and new lifecycle tactics.

  • Collaborate with Product: Identify in-app and messaging levers that improve engagement; translate clinical/product updates into clear, member-friendly messaging.

  • Systematize & scale: Maintain templates and content libraries; document playbooks for recurring campaigns.

  • Support content & field marketing:

    • Prioritize and produce assets for demand gen (gated content, blogs, white papers, e-books).

    • Build recurring webinar series and virtual experiences for employers/brokers.

    • Draft monthly newsletters for employers and brokers; repurpose long-form pieces into blogs, emails, and social posts.

What success looks like

  • Clear, consistent monthly calendar shipped on time

  • Improved conversion across key lifecycle touchpoints (enrollment, activation, retention)

  • Scalable libraries/templates and documented playbooks

  • Measurable lift from tests (subject lines, CTAs, send cadence, channel mix)

What you bring

  • 2–4 years in lifecycle, CRM, or content marketing (B2B2C, HR/benefits, or healthcare a plus)

  • Strong writing/editing and brief-writing skills; comfort translating clinical/product info into plain language

  • Hands-on with Customer.io (or similar ESP) and HubSpot; basic segmentation, testing, and reporting

  • Organized project manager who hits deadlines across multiple stakeholders

  • Data-curious mindset: you form hypotheses, run tests, and act on results

Bonus points

  • Experience with employer/broker audiences

  • Light HTML or landing-page builder skills

  • Familiarity with SMS and direct mail

Perks & Benefits

  • Flexible PTO – we trust you to take the time you need

  • Equity – share in the growth you’re driving

  • Remote-first – work from where you’re most productive (or if you’re near our Cambridge, MA headquarters, you’re welcome to join in the office 2 or 3 days a week)

  • Health, dental, and vision coverage

  • A mission-driven culture that celebrates impact

Growth you can expect

You’ll shape our lifecycle strategy, expand into new channels, and own increasingly visible thought-leadership programs, backed by a team that values experimentation and learns fast.

Goodpath is an equal opportunity employer. If you’re excited by this role but don’t meet every qualification, we’d still love to hear from you.
