Our Medical Team includes physicians, scientists/informaticians, physical therapists, dietitians, nurses, behavioral therapists, mind-body specialists, coaches, and other professionals. Together, we have hundreds of hours of clinical and research experience, including specific expertise in musculoskeletal, sleep, and digestive health problems.

We provide an integrative approach to care for each of our members, utilizing both conventional and complementary treatments including supplements, medicines, and products; exercise therapy; nutritional support; and mind-body methods.

Akl Fahed, MD, MPH

I’m a cardiologist and scientist at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, where I’ve trained for the past decade. I treat patients with heart disease or trying to prevent it, and my research is focused on genetic discovery and risk prediction. I’m passionate about healthcare innovation and work nationally to advance innovation in medicine. I founded Goodpath because I believe we can improve the quality of life for millions of people suffering from common but disabling conditions.

Stephanie Gianoukos, MD, MPH

I am a Pain Management specialist who has practiced in the Greater Boston area for over 15 years. Before attending UMass Chan Medical School, I received a Masters in Public Health at Boston University and worked for several years for the Department of Public Health performing statistics and data analysis. I completed my residency in Anesthesiology at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston and then my fellowship in Pain Medicine at the same institution. In my practice, I focus on multimodal pain management, which means I incorporate multiple modalities and types of medications in order to offer pain relief to my patients. I currently work for the Steward Medical Group running two of their Pain Centers and treating patients with acute and chronic pain.

Ioannis Koutsourelakis, MD, MSc, PhD

I am an Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeon specialized in sleep medicine with a clinical practice based in Athens, Greece. After finishing Otolaryngology residency in Greece, I completed fellowships at Sint Lucas Andreas Hospital, Amsterdam; Johns Hopkins Medicine, Baltimore; and Weill Cornell Medicine. I have dedicated the last 15 years to developing a deeper understanding of the pathophysiology of sleep disorders as well as mastering state-of-the art treatments for patient care. My research, including randomized trials on device treatments for sleep disorders, has been widely cited in leading international medical journals.

Christelle Younes, MD

I’m a primary care physician based in Montreal, Canada. I earned my medical doctor degree from l'Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth followed by residency training in family medicine at Hȏtel-Dieu de France. My experience in primary healthcare is focused on providing continuous care, both therapeutic and preventive, for people of all ages and through all stages of life. My approach to wellness is patient-centered, targets physical comfort as well as emotional and social support, while adapting to the emerging health challenges in the patient’s community.

Yousef Badran, MD

I am a Gastroenterology fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. Prior to that, I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital and a post-doctoral research fellowship in Immunology at Boston Children's Hospital/Harvard Medical School. I treat patients with gastrointestinal disorders and my research is focused on understanding the immune system within the gastrointestinal tract. I am passionate about using technology to improve patient-centered healthcare delivery.

Roukoz Abou-Karam, MD

I’m a physician with expertise in medical review and research. I currently serve as a postdoctoral research fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA; and as the Associate Editor of WikiDoc.org, a collaborative medical encyclopedia for health care professionals. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the American University of Beirut and Medical degree from the St. George's Hospital University Medical Center.

Hayden Box, MD

I'm a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon practicing in Salem, NH specializing in hip and knee replacement. After graduating from Harvard Medical School, I completed an orthopaedic surgeon residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, where I received extensive training in joint replacement and trauma. I then completed my training with a hip and knee replacement fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. I specialize in outpatient joint replacement, as well as complex hip and knee replacement. I think it is important for people to be invested in their own wellness and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.

Karim Sleiman, MD

I am a primary care physician based between Tennessee (US) and Beirut (Lebanon). My medical education focused on research design for non-communicable diseases. I completed my residency training in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. My postdoctoral training was focused on imaging of age-related diseases at Duke University. My clinical practice is inspired by principles of positive psychology, guided by an empathic patient-centered approach, and based on personalized care.

Maria Dourida-Mitarachi, PhD, MSc, PGCert

I am a physical therapist with clinical experience in the UK, Belgium, and Greece. I hold postgraduate degrees in Physiotherapy (MSc) and Education (PGCert) from the University of East London, UK. I completed my PhD at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. I currently teach Molecular and Applied Physiology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. For the past 10 years I have researched the human stress system and exercise. I am a member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

TJ Snediker, DPT, TPI

I am the Associate Director of Musculoskeletal Health at Goodpath. My clinical background includes work as a doctor of physical therapy and as a certified personal trainer. I continue to practice physical therapy in Boston, MA. My area of clinical expertise focuses on treating back pain, musculoskeletal pain, and sports injuries. I have completed certifications for the Selective Functional Movement Assessment and the Titleist Performance Institute. I have an extensive background in ergonomics with a focus on the office and home environment. I completed undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame and received my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Boston University.

Andriana Konstantakopoulos, BS Pharm

I’ve been a practicing pharmacist in Greece for the past several years. In addition to my degree from the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Patras, Greece, I have received additional training in pharmacy compounding, Homeopathic medicine and cosmetology. I have worked in multiple high-volume pharmacies in the city of Athens where I routinely counsel patients on managing their health conditions. I’m a firm believer in an integrative approach to health that combines medications and lifestyle changes.

Linda Said, MS, RD, LDN

I’m a clinical dietician and nutrition science professional with several years of experience providing medical nutrition therapy and evaluating nutritional care for diverse populations. I’ve worked with patients in Beirut and Boston-based medical institutions such as Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. I obtained my BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from the American University of Beirut and my MS in Nutrition Science and Policy from Tufts University in Boston.

Lauren Chaunt, MSW, MS, CNS

In addition to my work at Goodpath, I am a functional nutrition consultant, meal coach, and integrative medicine group facilitator at an inpatient eating disorder facility. I have a BA in Research Psychology and an MSW in Clinical Psychotherapy from Rhode Island College, Providence, RI. I have an MS in Human Nutrition, with an emphasis on nutritional biochemistry, from the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, CT. I am also a certified nutrition specialist (CNS) which qualifies me as an advanced nutrition practitioner. I am passionate about empowering others to optimize their physical and mental health. I provide psycho-education, including mind/body practices and biofeedback, and nutrition education, including the brain/gut connection.

Joanna Gholmie, BS Pharm, MS

I am a pharmacist and outcomes research professional. I have practiced in retail and clinical pharmacy in Lebanon and Switzerland prior to attending graduate school and conducting health outcomes research at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) University in Boston.

Brianna Wells, MS

I am the Head of Coaching at Goodpath. I have many years of experience in the physical therapy setting, as well as other clinical areas including cardiac and stroke rehabilitation, neurology, and musculoskeletal health. I have a BS in Exercise Science from California State University Long Beach with a major in kinesiology and a minor in psychology. I also have my MS in Exercise and Sports Science from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. I am certified in strength and conditioning, nutrition, and health and wellness coaching. Body systems are interconnected and medical conditions are no different - thus I believe that an integrative approach is necessary. It allows individuals to take control of their health and truly improve their quality of life.

Beth Holloway, RN, M.Ed

I am a Master’s educated registered nurse - at Goodpath, my role is Medical Content Manager. Previously, I was a content consultant for digital healthcare startups, as well as established organizations. I was also employed by several prominent healthcare companies/institutions including Staywell, Wolters Kluwer Health, and Allscripts. My focus is always on the end-user/audience, providing medical content that is evidence-based, medically accurate, clearly communicated, easily understood, and readily actionable. I hold degrees from Youngstown State University and Kent State University, both in Northeastern Ohio.

Niki Saccareccia, E-RYT

I am a yoga educator and meditation teacher, and the creator of Roadmap to Mindful Living, a lifestyle management course for turning good intentions into good habits. My teaching is informed by a decade of experience as a clinical behavioral therapist and the systemic way that we change our behavior to improve the quality of our life. My own training began in 2007 and is a blend of yoga traditions, lab hours in integral anatomy and breath-driven alignment for holistic health, trauma informed therapy to manage pain, aging and mental health.

Natalija Trojanovic , MS, EdM, MHC-LP

I am a mental health counselor in New York City. I use an eclectic approach with a focus on person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. I strongly believe in the importance of research and have been involved in numerous projects during my undergraduate studies at the American University of Beirut and while pursuing my graduate degree at King's College, London and Columbia University, New York.

Emily Conley, PTA

I’m a physical therapy assistant and certified health and wellness coach. I mainly practice at an outpatient clinic and an acute care hospital in Rhode Island. I have a specialty certification in orthopedics, and a health coach certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I believe in a holistic and multi-dimensional approach to wellness.

Abigail Freyer, PT, DPT, MFD

I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy practicing in the Los Angeles area. I treat a variety of conditions from pre/post-op, movement disorders and sports related injuries using a strong focus on orthopedic rehabilitation through manual therapy techniques and alignment through postural education. With comprehensive care by way of functional evaluations, my philosophy of treatment is consistent with integrating patient education and strengthening specific to the individuals lifestyle needs. I have seven years of clinical experience.

Michael Soares

I’m a personal trainer and health coach. Following my bachelor degree in exercise physiology, I completed multiple trainings and eventually became Tier 3+ trainer at Equinox and founder of the New Human Project. I’ve trained people from diverse backgrounds, from Olympians and professional athletes to people managing chronic back pain.

Jennifer Graham, RYT

I am a Master Trainer and Instructor for a Pilates-style national fitness franchise for the past 10 years. I have a variety of different fitness certifications including my 200 hour RYT from Hot Asana University. Using my experience with chronic pain, my focus has been on proper form and technique to provide personalized training to those needing modified to advanced routines for stronger core muscles, flexibility and overall wellness.
