Akl Fahed, MD, MPH
Dr. Fahed is a physician-scientist at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology both at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He earned a Master of Public Health from the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health. He serves as a council member on healthcare innovation and precision medicine at the American College of Cardiology. He has published more than 30 manuscripts including in top-tier journals and has received multiple awards for his research.
Stephanie Gianoukos, MD, MPH
Dr. Gianoukos is an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist affiliated with the Steward Health Care Network in Massachusetts. She has more than 15 years of experience and has treated thousands of patients with chronic pain conditions. She earned her Medical Doctor degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and then completed a residency in Anesthesiology and a fellowship in Pain Management from St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
Roukoz Abou-Karam, MD
Dr. Abou-Karam is a generalist physician with expertise in medical review and research. He earned his Medical Doctor degree from the Saint George Hospital University Medical Center. He serves as a postdoctoral research fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts. He also serves as Associate Editor of WikiDoc.org, the largest open-source collaborative medical encyclopedia for healthcare professionals.
Joanna Gholmie, BS Pharm, MS
Ms. Gholmie is a pharmacist and outcomes research professional. She earned a BS in Biology from the American University of Beirut followed by a BS in Pharmacy from the Lebanese American University. She is a registered pharmacist in Lebanon and has practiced in retail and clinical pharmacy in Lebanon and Switzerland. She also completed a Master of Science in pharmaceutical sciences with a focus on health economics and outcomes research from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) University in Boston. She has several years of research experience including conducting systematic reviews and medical device outcomes and regulation research.
TJ Snediker, DPT, TPI
Dr. Snediker is a doctor of physical therapy and personal trainer. He maintains a practice at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates and Precision PT. He has 6 years of clinical experience treating back pain, musculoskeletal pain, and sports injuries among other conditions. TJ received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013 from Boston University and a Bachelor degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2009. TJ also operates Elite Physical Performance which specializes in exercise and golf fitness. He has also completed advanced training in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment and Titleist Performance Institute.
Linda Said, MS, RD, LDN
Ms. Said is an experienced clinical dietician and nutrition science professional. She obtained her BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from the American University of Beirut and her MS in Nutrition Science and Policy from Tufts University in Boston. She has several years of experience providing medical nutrition therapy and evaluating nutritional care for diverse populations with a variety of health and disease states. She worked in outpatient and inpatient settings in Beirut and Boston, including leading medical institutions such as Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as with a multidisciplinary team leading corporate wellness initiatives, menu development and nutritional analysis in her role as Health and Dietetic Manager at Emirates Flight Catering.
Emily S. Conley, PTA
Ms. Conley is a physical therapy assistant and certified health and wellness coach. She graduated with a BA in Biology from St. Michael’s College in Vermont and completed the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at the New England Institute of Technology in Rhode Island. She practices predominantly at an outpatient clinic and an acute care hospital located in southern Rhode Island. She is a Certified Functional Strength Coach through Mike Boyle and a Level 1 & 2 Kinesio Tape practitioner. She also completed a year long specialty certification in orthopedics and has also a health coach certification through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She believes in a holistic and multi-dimensional approach to wellness.
Mr. Soares is an elite personal trainer and health coach. He was a collegiate basketball player who graduated with a degree in Exercise Science and subsequently completed multiple certifications including ISSA certification, Pre/Post Natal certification, and Precision Nutrition LVL 1 Certification. He is a Tier 3+ trainer at Equinox and founder of New Human Project, an online personal training business where the company creates custom work out programs tailored to the client's needs . He has trained people from diverse background ranging from Olympians and professional athletes to individuals struggling with chronic disease such as back pain. He enjoys helping everyone “find their inner athlete”, no matter their age and health condition.
Ms. Sternlicht is a pre-medical student at Brown University where she is studying biomedical engineering. She has completed training as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and has volunteered at the Meriden Fire Department and in the Emergency Department at Carney Hospital. She has also participated in a research project and clinical apprenticeship at Tufts University. She is passionate about using technology to improve the health and wellness of populations.
